The Problem

Do you know there are elderlies that are facing problems commuting from their house to go for hospital appointments? Have you ever noticed some of them travel alone for grocery shopping? 

What is our project about?

We aim to provide a transportation service for the elderly, almost similar to what we have now, except, it’s cheaper, senior-friendly (can be booked through calls & messages) and also wheelchair user friendly. Not only that, we also provide a volunteer driver and a companion! (to accompany them for hospital appointments, in case they are going alone). 

What is our project Significant?

What differentiates us from other e-hailing services is that we provide a transportation service with modification of the vehicle (ie. wheelchair is provided). The senior citizens (clients) can book an appointment through phone calls or messages in order to utilize the service. This comes to ease as they do not have to be tech-savvy (well informed about the use of modern technology). Unlike the current transportation services, we provide a companion for the senior citizen to feel more secure and comfortable in being mobile. These companions will assist them. For example, the companion will accompany them for hospital appointments or even grocery shopping.

The funds we get will be fully used for :

• Modification of vehicle (Wheelchair & Ramp) - RM 21,500.
• Operational cost (for maintenance, fuel, tolls) - RM 8,500

*Based on the cost of RM0.50 per km with an estimation of 175km per day, and operating on 5 days per week.

Main Objective:

• To facilitate the senior citizens focusing more on PAWE members in terms of transportation.
• To provide comfortable and secure transportation service together with a volunteer driver and companion.

Our Target :

We aim to crowdfund a total of RM30,000 in order to make this project a success.
